I feel like I need to force myself to post art even if it’s just a doodle, rather than just deleting it immediately or shoving it in a folder and forgetting about it…
the half-hearted scribble in the back is meant to be some kind of junky hoverbike I guess. I can’t draw guns either

I’d just like to say, disappointingly uneven animation aside, I am really liking the way they are using light and shadow in the new series. The titles, night scenes, dream sequences and even the transformations to some extent have this really nice combination of deep blues and blacks with soft, pale lighting that give the scenes a dreamy, moonlit quality which is perfectly appropriate for a heroine of the moon, and does a pretty good job of evoking the hazy, luminous quality of Naoko Takeuchi’s artwork. And the dark backgrounds make the sparkly magic effects pop that much more.

So, at least it’s not all wonky eyes and bizarrely distorted cats. And hey, if it’s successful enough maybe Toei will be able to up the production values a bit, like what’s happened with JoJo.

ChongQing, Sichuan Province is also knows as Chicago on Yangtze.

Enormously high bridges forming mazes over the city give an image to ChongQing as a city of future.

Tomorrow is my second trip to the city. Bridges and unique architecture of houses will be my main goal.
